Conference Connectional Ministries

The SC Annual Conference met on Aug. 20th at Virginia Winguard UMC to take the next step in establishing the Conference Connectional Ministries which is made up members from all 12 District Connectional Ministries.  The Judge Cynthia Williams was elected Covener, Rev. Narcie Jeter, Co-Covener and Rev. Steven King, Secretary. The CCM is organized into four ministry areas that align with the District Connectional Ministries , Advocacy, Lay Leadership, Discipleship and Outreach.  A Covener was elected for each ministry area and are as follows:  Advocacy, Rev. Amiri Hooker, Lay Leadership, Dr. Joseph Heyward, Discipleship, Rev.
